| Technical Requirements Server
To determine the type of server needed you have to take into account several relevant aspects such as the number of users, agencies, etc. We could assume the following desirable configuration: Hardware - Pentium IV processor, 2.0. Ghz minimum
- 512 MB of RAM or higher
- Minimum 2 GB of available hard disk space
- CD-ROM drive
- Network Card 100 MB
- Backup device or RAID (data backup)
- Dot Matrix printer (it applies if double-copy printed documents needed)
Software - Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2003 Server or superior, and/or Linux
- Relacional Database (SQL Server, Postgress, etc.)
- Email Server
- Fax Server (optional; for example, WinFax)
| | Workstation These are the requirements of ITOS users. Its minimum configuration is as follows: Hardware - Pentium III processor, 1.2 GMhz or higher
- 128 MB RAM or higher recommended
- 300 MB hard disk space available or higher
- Monitor SVGA (color) 1024 x 768 resolution
- Network Card 100 MB
Software - Microsoft Windows 2000/Windows XP Operating System or higher
- Microsoft Word/Excel (Version 2000 or higher)
- Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher
